At 41 years old, Demian Maia continues to make history in UFC. The veteran Brazilian achieved his 21st victory within the company after defeating Anthony Rocco Martin by unanimous decision in Minneapolis.
After three rounds, the judges saw Demian Maia as the winner by 29-28, 29-28, 29-28. The Brazilian imposed his experience in the exact moments and took the fight to the ground when Anthony Rocco Martin tried to strike him.

With this result, Maia achieved his second consecutive victory, coming from defeating Lyman Good. Now, he has 21 victories in UFC and is only surpassed by Donald Cerrone, who has 23 celebrations inside the octagon.
On the other hand, Anthony Rocco Martin ended a streak of four consecutive victories. With this defeat against Demian Maia at UFC Fight Night in Minneapolis, he reached five losses as a professional.
