The brand NXT is known as the development ground of WWE. It serves as a platform for new wrestlers to showcase their talent, aiming for a place in the main roster in the future.
And while there are great success stories of wrestlers who moved from NXT to RAW or SmackDown (Seth Rollins, Bray Wyatt, and Charlotte Flair, to name a few), there are also other figures that never made it to the main roster.
One of the most recent cases is that of Tyler Breeze, who was promoted to the main WWE roster in October 2015, after earning the love and respect of the majority of NXT followers.
However, Tyler Breeze never managed to connect with the audience in WWE events. To the point that the creative team started relegating his character to comedic segments, or what we know as a classic jobber.
The curious thing is that Tyler Breeze made a surprise appearance this Friday at an NXT show, which took place in San Diego. Although he didn't have the expected comeback, as he ended up losing in an individual match against Lars Sullivan. Does he have numbered days in WWE?
