Braun Strowman
is getting closer to his goal of becoming the WWE Universal Champion. This Sunday, the 'Monster among Men' earned the right to challenge Brock Lesnar, after winning the Money in the Bank briefcase.In a frenetic main event of Money in the Bank, Braun Strowman emerged victorious over seven other top superstars: Bobby Roode, Finn Bálor, Kevin Owens, Kofi Kingston, Rusev, Samoa Joe, and The Miz.
Although the Money in the Bank ladder match was filled with emotions, the most impactful moment occurred near the entrance ramp: Braun Strowman threw Kevin Owens off the top of a ladder onto a table.
After delivering Running Powerslams to all his opponents, Braun Strowman climbed up one side of the ladder, while Finn Bálor ascended the other. At that moment, Kofi Kingston attempted to bring down the 'Monster among Men', but ended up on the floor.
That's when Braun Strowman pushed Finn Bálor aside to climb to the top of the ladder and unhook the Money in the Bank briefcase. Will he now be able to take the universal title from Brock Lesnar?
