Samoa Joe was one of the big surprises of the last Superstar Shake-Up carried out by WWE. The 'Destroyer' was transferred from Raw to SmackDown, where he will try to take the company's world title from AJ Styles.

However, WWE never consulted Samoa Joe about the possibility of being transferred from one brand to another. And that's what the former NXT champion revealed in a recent interview with the program From The Top Rope.

"I found out just when I arrived at the Shake-Up. We were not given any prior notice. It's a chaotic week, you have to reschedule your vehicles, flights, and everything. It's a mess. Really, everyone has to make those changes in their travels, but that's what we have to do," said Samoa Joe in complaint to WWE.

"It's weird because you don't know what's going on. Then you sit down and think about the fights you will have on SmackDown, there I thought 'well, I can handle this'. After much reflection, you mentally prepare for what's to come," added Samoa Joe.

The truth is that Samoa Joe could gain even more prominence in WWE if he becomes the world champion. For now, the Samoan roots fighter is preparing to face Roman Reigns this Sunday at Backlash 2018.
