WWE fans threaten wrestler Ariya Daivari
Despite appearances, WWE wrestlers play characters. This is something that some fans of the company did not understand when they saw the Greatest Royal Rumble and proceeded to threaten a wrestler's life. In response, the wrestler decided to report the incident on Twitter.
The wrestler in question is Ariya Daivari. He appeared in the segment featuring wrestlers from Saudi Arabia in the Greatest Royal Rumble, and WWE asked him to use an Iranian flag.
Additionally, Daivari criticized the local public, which generated a lot of rejection among attendees and viewers, who did not hesitate to criticize him on Twitter. But some went too far.
"During my performance last Friday, I had a completely fictitious role. It's no different from actors on TV or in movies. That character does not reflect my ideals, and I apologize to anyone who may have been offended," stated Daivari on his Twitter account.
The 29-year-old wrestler is part of WWE's cruiserweight category. He also joins the 205 Live roster.
