Amir Khan is back where he belongs after a ring exile of almost two years.
The former double light-welterweight world champion makes his long-awaited return against Phil Lo Greco at the Liverpool Echo Arena.
Khan is building towards major fights in the next two years, with an all-British showdown with Kell Brook in his sights.
But those hopes will go up in smoke if his comeback doesn’t go to plan tonight.
Khan hasn’t fought since being brutally knocked out by Saul Alvarez in Las Vegas in May 2016.
But he is adamant he remains as hungry as ever for success - even believing he can emulate pound-for-pound greats Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao by producing some of his best performances in his 30s.
The first test of that bold claim will come tonight against Canadian Lo Greco, who is aiming to produce an upset in front of a sell-out crowd.

'Great fight'
Some great praise for Doyle tonight
'Some punch'
Trainer Lee Beard says....
'Stunning performance'
That was a stunning performance from Coyle.
It’s hard to fault it.
A sharp right-hand counter sent Dodd sprawling.
He survived the count, but it was a wise decision from his corner to throw the towel in.
He was increasingly leaving himself open and taking big shots.
Dodd v Coyle - round 6
Dodd down again and the towel goes in.
It’s all over.
Brilliant from Coyle.
Dodd v Coyle - round 5
Coyle is in total control here. Dodd is visibly shaken by that fourth, but he’s done well so far to avoid too much more punishment.
That said, Coyle is finding his range and backing his opponent onto the ropes before unloading.
The Liverpool crowd are desperate for a reaction from Dodd, but he’s getting picked off.
Dodd v Coyle - round 4
A stunning knock down from Coyle and just when Dodd looked to be getting back into the fight.
Coyle caught his rival completely by surprise, sending him spinning with a straight right before knocking him to the canvas.
He survived just.
Dodd v Coyle - Round 3
Coyle’s round definitely.
He had joy early in the round with some body shots, while a left hook also landed to the head.
A late flurry also got the crowd out of their seats.
Dodd v Coyle - Round 2
It’s turning into a bit of scrap in the second. Both men letting go with some pretty wild swings.
Not too much accuracy though.
Atmosphere building up
Dodd v Coyle - Round 1
Not a lot in the first round. Coyle knows he has the crowd against him, but was prepared to be the aggressor.

Dodd v Coyle is about to start.
They’re well up for this one in here.

Bellew on Benn... 'he will become a force'
Strong words from Bellew there
Lethal left uppercut from Benn
That was a lethal left uppercut from Benn. He really does look impressive.
They won’t want to rush him, but he is one to keep an eye on, with just a hint of his dad’s knockout power.
It's all over!
It’s all over. Benn sends Truman to the canvas and despite getting to his feet, the referee has seen enough.
Conor Benn v Chris Truman
Into the third round for Conor Benn and he’s in control. He’s already landed some heavy blows that his father, Nigel, who is standing at ringside would appreciate.
Hard to see this one going the distance. He’s found his range.

First fight of the night - Eggington and Szabo
The undercard is well and truly underway at the Echo Arena in Liverpool tonight.
Sam Eggington has made his super-welterweight debut against Achilles Szabo.
Eggington won, and speaking to Sky Sports, he said: “I’m happy with what I’ve got and will push on from here.”
Khan: I'm not finished
Khan has talked big in the build up to his comeback and he is clearly determined to make a statement.
“That’s the reason I’m back,” he said. “A couple of years ago I was only fighting once a year, my body hasn’t taken that many beatings.
“I feel young when I hit the gym. I get fit quick, I’ve got no injuries.
“By early next year I want to be on the level where I’m fighting the likes of Spence, Thurman, Kell Brook.
“These are fights I want to have now. The December fight could be a big fight.”

Khan on his preparation
“I feel really good. I’ve sparred a lot of young guys, Olympians and unbeaten hungry pros, and they have really been pushing me. They want to prove a point and show me how good they are, so they push me. I feel that my body is peaking and the gameplan that Joe is working on with me has come together. It’s been such a long time but I feel now like I’ve never left the game.
“The Amir Khan you’ll see is the one that boxes at a high pace with lots of combinations – but now when I throw them, there’s going to be better defence behind them. I feel better now than I did at 28. I’m 31 now, the peak years of my career, and I’ve made my mistakes and they’re in the past, I don’t want to make them again, so we move forward now and make the right choices.”
The weigh in
Khan looked good on the scales after so long out of the ring.
