"I prepared a lot for this new chance. I set out to arrive in good shape for this fight, it was the only thing that kept me in boxing," expressed "Hurricane" Narvaez at a press conference held in the capital of Northern Ireland, where he will compete in three days.

The veteran boxer will take on a very challenging commitment against a 30-year-old opponent who will enter the fight with a record of 26 victories (21 of them by knockout) and only three defeats.

"I am prepared to win on Saturday. Although it's a very good opponent, my experience will serve me well in the ring, I have had several world championship fights, and I am physically and psychologically well, so I hope to reach my third world title," emphasized Narvaez.

In Belfast, Narvaez (48-2-2, 25 KO) will face Zolani Tete (26-3, 21 KO) for the WBO bantamweight title, currently held by the South African.

Recent history does not favor the Argentine, as Tete knocked out his last opponent in 11 seconds, and the fighter from Chubut lost in his previous two fights outside of the country.

Narvaez will seek to become the only Argentine to be a world champion in three different weight categories, as he previously held the flyweight and super flyweight titles from the WBO.
