Two interesting coincidences between WrestleMania 30 and 34.

Three fighters returning as champions to the SuperDome and a feeling we hadn't felt in four years at WrestleMania, are the two coincidences between editions 30 and 34 of the Show of Shows in New Orleans.

Three fighters returning as champions to the SuperDome and a feeling we hadn't felt in four years at WrestleMania, are the two coincidences between editions 30 and 34 of the Show of Shows in New Orleans.

We are less than two weeks away from the biggest wrestling event globally, WrestleMania, which will take place at the Mercedes-Benz SuperDome in the city of New Orleans, Louisiana, after four years since that April sixth night that left us all seeing both sides of the coin.

But while we wait for the day to come and see how the card of the Show of Shows continues to form with matches yet to be confirmed and wrestlers to be included in the battle royals, there are some similarities between the event that took place four years ago and this one that will be held next week, which we will highlight the following:

1. The return of the streak intrigue at WrestleMania

Asuka's streak of over two years has divided opinions among various wrestling community users, especially in Facebook groups, as some found it boring while others want it to continue.

And with the upcoming match she will have against Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women's Championship, we have once again seen the intrigue that The Undertaker's streak at WrestleMania caused, wondering if it continues or ends.

Charlotte stated that New Orleans is the city where streaks come to an end; just remember that her father was the Dead Man's tenth victim at WrestleMania.

2. Orton and The Usos defending a title in a multi-man match

Of the ten champions we currently have in the main roster leading up to WrestleMania, only Randy Orton and The Usos can boast about returning to the SuperDome (not SilverDome, Hulk Hogan) as champions, although with a different title than they held four years ago.

But not only are they returning to New Orleans as champions, they will have to defend their titles against more than one wrestler.

In Orton's case, he will defend the United States Championship against Bobby Roode, Rusev, and Jinder Mahal, whereas four years ago he defended the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Batista and Daniel Bryan.

The Usos will defend the Smackdown Tag Team Championship against The New Day and The Bludgeon Brothers. Four years ago, they defended the WWE Tag Team Championships against The Real Americans (Jack Swagger & Cesaro), Los Matadores (Primo & Epico), and RybAxel (Ryback & Curtis Axel); on the Kick Off Show.
