The WWE's Lucrative Year and Vince McMahon's Fortune

2017 was the most profitable year for WWE, with earnings of $810 million. Obviously, this was reflected in the paychecks of its workers, especially that of Vince McMahon.

The owner and president of WWE increased his salary to $1.4 million compared to last year. Furthermore, he will maintain it in 2019.

However, that is not where his fortune comes from. Just a week ago, Forbes magazine revealed that Vince McMahon is one of the richest people in the world with $1.7 billion in his bank accounts.

It is thanks to his shares in WWE that he can afford to maintain a relatively low salary considering the company's income. His two vice presidents and Triple H operate under the same principle.

Vince McMahon founded WWE in 1971 and has been very successful since then. He has even expanded with Alpha Entertainment (2017) and the XFL (2020).
