AJ Styles promises to be the main protagonist of this Sunday's Fastlane, where he will defend his WWE world title against five opponents. But there is a legend who could steal the show in Ohio, and that is none other than The Undertaker.
It turns out that one of AJ Styles' five opponents is the legendary John Cena, who is rumored to be The Undertaker's opponent on April 8th at WrestleMania 34.
With less than a month to build the rivalry between The Undertaker and John Cena for WrestleMania 34, this Sunday's Fastlane would be the ideal stage to kick off this highly anticipated feud for WWE fans.
This was explained by former wrestler Brian Alvarez in the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Live, where he assured that WWE does not plan to wait until the next Monday Night Raw for The Undertaker and John Cena to have their first face-to-face encounter.
It is speculated that The Undertaker could be the cause of John Cena's defeat in his match against AJ Styles, in which Baron Corbin, Dolph Ziggler, Kevin Owens, and Sami Zayn will also participate. Will the 'Deadman' prevent the 'Marine' from winning the WWE world title for the seventeenth time?
