Dillian Whyte has admitted he has resolved his differences with Stormzy and is happy for the grime artist to attend his fight with Lucas Browne on March 24.
Whyte will be defending his WBC ‘silver’ heavyweight title against Browne, the former WBA (Regular) world champion with a professional record of 25-0.
And ahead of the fight, Whyte has made his peace with the Brit Award winner – who famously accompanied his arch rival Anthony Joshua to the ring for their 2015 fight.
Stormzy also referenced Whyte in his hit One Take Freestyle, after the heavyweight called him out in an interview.
“Me and Stormzy had our little nonsense, but fair play to Stormzy he's doing well,” Whyte told Sky Sports.
“You cannot hate on a man that's doing well. That thing at the fight was part of launching his career, so it's a business. At the time, I was a bit annoyed about it, but you can't take these things personally. You have to learn to forgive and move on.
“Congratulations to him, he's doing good, and I hope he will continue to do good. I cannot hate on a man for doing good and feeding his family.”
Whyte even offered the Wicked Skengman artist tickets to his forthcoming bout.
“He can have tickets to come. Listen, as long as these people are supporting who they are supporting. Whether they are supporting me to lose or to win, I don't care. The only thing that matters is the support.”
And Stormzy was quick to acknowledged the feud was over. "Yes Dillian, all love and respect," he tweeted.
