Inter Milan and Atlético Madrid are currently holding talks for Joao Miranda’s move to the Italian club. Apparently the negotiations are moving in the right direction and an agreement could be reached sooner rather than later. Nevertheless, the Brazilian centre-back preferred not to jump the gun as he spoke to Gazzetta dello Sport about the possible move.
“Inter are a big club, one of the biggest in Europe, but I can only talk about Atlético, my current club. The only reality is that I have one year left on my contract and I’m still part of the squad,” the centre-back said. Miranda is currently playing with the Brazil squad in the Copa América and was in the starting line-up in the Canarinho's defeat to Colombia.
