Floyd Mayweather
played with the possibility of a rematch against
Conor McGregor
in the UFC octagon in December 2017. However, shortly after, the former world boxing champion denied his move to mixed martial arts (MMA) with a somewhat confusing message.
"I never said I was going to fight in the UFC. I said if I wanted to do it, I could. What I would want to do and what I could do are different things. However, I'm not going to do it," he said at the time. Although 'Money' seems to have changed his mind.
It turns out that this Tuesday, Mayweather uploaded a video to his Twitter account where he can be seen entering an MMA octagon. This made many think again about the possibility of a fight against McGregor inside the octagon.
And as expected, 'The Notorious' did not take long to send Mayweather a message through his Twitter account. Of course, McGregor decided to mock the man who knocked him out in his professional boxing debut.
"Hahahaha very good. Keep up the good work my son.
Yours sincerely,
Senior."
responded Conor McGregor. Will we soon see Mayweather making his debut in the UFC?
Hahahaha very good. Keep up the good work my son.
