International soccer celebration at El Campín stadium in Bogotá
Yellow and red flags will decorate El Campín stadium in Bogotá this Saturday, in celebration of the capital's 477 years. Directors and fans of Independiente
Santa Fe are preparing an unforgettable celebration.
During the match between Santa Fe and Águilas Doradas, in the fifth round of the Liga Águila II-2015, the people of Bogotá will have the opportunity to toast the city's birthday with hot chocolate, almojábanas (cheese bread), cheese, and arepas (corn cakes). They will also wave the yellow and red flag in all stands.
"The stadium will be adapted for the Bogotá celebration: we invite you to have some santafereño chocolate. Come with your family while on the field, the men dressed in red and white delight us with their fantasy plays," says a statement from the 'cardenal' family.
The invitation is for all Bogotá families to attend the soccer celebration, jump, sing, and fervently sing the Bogotá anthem. Santa Fe hopes to raise the Bogotá flag with a victory that will keep them at the top of the league.
