Three months before the Hall of Fame ceremony, to be held on April 6, the WWE has already confirmed the first member of the select group. It is Goldberg, who after two stages in the company (2003 and 2016) was chosen as the flagbearer for the class of 2018.
"Goldberg's charisma, intensity, and athletic ability captured the imagination of fans around the world," said Triple H. "We are proud that Goldberg takes his rightful place in the Hall of Fame," he added.
Goldberg arrived at WWE after a successful career in the now defunct WCW, where he won world titles and maintained an undefeated record of 173 fights. His first appearance in Vince McMahon's company was challenging a referent like The Rock to a match.
After that, the owner of the 'Jackhammer' didn't stop until he defeated Triple H and obtained the heavyweight world title. In his second stage, in 2016, Goldberg reappeared to resume a rivalry with his last opponent: Brock Lesnar.
