Note

Nicolas Vikonis:

He intervened well in three clear goal opportunities from Patriotas in the first half and could do nothing about the penalty goal. He was hit by a strong tackle from Jorge Ramirez. The second goal went in on his side.

Kevin Rendon:

He allowed crosses throughout the first half and that's where Patriotas' opportunities came from. He left a gap for Carlos Rivas' goal. He was shown a yellow card.

Gabriel Diaz:

Very nervous, easily beaten to the ball, Diego Alvarez beat him all night, and he also committed a handball for the penalty goal. He failed to close down Rivas for Patriotas' second goal.

Andres Cadavid:

Shared a duel with Jorge Ramirez, which gave him a lot of work. He received a yellow card early in the second half.

Deiver Machado:

Had little involvement and whenever he did, he was beaten. Was not as effective in creating opportunities as in other games.

David Silva:

Tried to create partnerships with Mayer but was imprecise and delivered poorly. Went unnoticed.

Fabian Vargas:

Had marking issues and received an early knock to the knee. Received a yellow card, his third in the season. Improved in the second half and was more practical, bringing order.

Rafael Robayo:

Didn't get involved much in the game, still not the player he was at the end of last season. Contributed very little and had marking problems.

Mayer Candelo:

Started off with mobility, trying to be a partner for everyone, attempted to create opportunities for the forwards and his cross from the right enabled Rangel to score the second goal. Then became imprecise and was substituted by Jonathan Agudelo at the 32nd minute of the second half.

Maximiliano Nunez:

Very active as a forward on the flank, had a lot of mobility and distracted the defense, getting past his marker to set up Rangel's first goal. Was supportive and a good teammate.

Michael Rangel:

Had a lot of mobility and was focused, scored his first two goals for Millonarios in just 10 minutes, one of them being a bicycle kick. Scored the third goal by taking advantage of a scramble in the box. It's the second hat-trick of his career.

Jonathan Agudelo:

Replaced Mayer and even took on the playmaking role, but by that point in the game, he had little to contribute.

Sergio Romero:

Made his debut in the 32nd minute of the second half. Chased some balls and linked up with Maximiliano until he left the field.

Oswaldo Henriquez:

Replaced Nunez in the 39th minute of the second half to form a backline of three. Made a crucial clearance but allowed Carreño to head the ball in the last corner kick, which hit the post.
