Ángel Di María is now officially a Paris Saint Germain player. Benfica bought ‘El Fideo’ from Rosario Central for eight million euros, before Madrid came in to hire his services for 33 million euros. Manchester United then paid Los Blancos 75 millions euros for the winger. In total, 179 million euros.
“What I know about PSG is that they’re a team that won every trophy available in France last season,” Di María told 'Bein Sports', a channel owned by the same Qatari owners as PSG. “I’m very happy to be joining PSG,” he added.
“I also know that I want to help them to overcome the quarter-final barrier in the Champions League. I’m going to play to the best of my ability to help the team,” he said.
