Midfielder of Getafe, said on Thursday at a press conference that he will experience a season of "tranquility" and highlighted that there will be "no type of problem" for him to try to complete a great year.
After experiencing a challenging year, in which he "lost his federative license" and recovered it provisionally after going through the courts, as his club exceeded the salary cap imposed by the Professional Football League (LFP), Pedro León sees a clearer horizon with the upcoming season starting in just over fifteen days.
"Obviously, they are different years with different reasons. I am excited about this year. It is a year of tranquility. I spoke to the president (Angel Torres) yesterday and he reassured me. He told me that there would be no type of problem," he commented.
"I have nothing against anyone, everything has been forgotten. This year I want to enjoy and that's what I'm doing," he explained after joining the club along with the rest of the team to attract fans.
He also talked about the new coach, Fran Escribá, whom he highlighted for having "very good and demanding" methods, and stated that the team and coaching staff are getting to know each other in order to work well, "be competitive," and "embrace" the ideas of the coaching staff.
"There are less than twenty days left. The team is training very well. I would have liked to win all the matches in England. The team has competed well and at that moment we are all together," he concluded.
