After his last appearance on May 13 against Gabriel Benitez, Enrique Barzola will return to the octagon in the first main event of UFC that will take place on January 20 at UFC 220. The card is starting to take shape and will feature Stipe Miocic defending his Heavyweight title against Cameroonian Francis Ngannou.
After strict training outside of the country, Enrique Barzola doesn't let his guard down and announced his next fight on social media. "Happy year 2018. UFC 220 in Boston, January 20. Peru vs England, Arnold Allen," said the Peruvian on Facebook.
As you may remember, Enrique Barzola was the winner of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) Latin America 2, where he faced Mexican Horacio Gutierrez in the main event to officially start his career in the UFC.
In three appearances, he won two by unanimous decision against Chris Avila and Gabriel Benitez; and lost one against Kyle Bochniak by split decision. Enrique Barzola has a record of 13 wins and three losses as a professional in MMA.
As for his opponent, Arnold Allen has a record of 12-1 and the only time he lost was by unanimous decision against Marcin Wrzosek.
The UFC 220 card has great fights like Stipe Miocic vs Francis Ngannou for the Heavyweight title. In addition, Daniel Cormier will face Volkan Oezdemir in the co-main event.
