Khabib Nurmagomedov Dominates Edson Barboza at UFC 219

Khabib Nurmagomedov once again showed on Saturday why he is considered one of the best mixed martial arts fighters in the world. The Russian fighter defeated Edson Barboza at UFC 219 and called for a title fight against Conor McGregor or Tony Ferguson.

From the start of the fight, Khabib Nurmagomedov pressured Barboza, known for his dangerous kicks. The 'Eagle' was impeccable in the exchange of blows and gradually backed the Brazilian against the fence.

Minutes passed and Barboza couldn't find the openings. And although he managed to connect one of his spectacular spinning head kicks, Khabib withstood the impact and continued with the pressure. The Russian fighter even came close to knocking out his opponent in the final moments of the third round.

"I am happy to have achieved this victory on the day my son was born. I am ready to fight anyone. I want Conor McGregor or Tony Ferguson," said Nurmagomedov after his win. However, he later doubted whether the Irishman would accept the challenge.

"Well, I actually prefer to ask for Tony, because Conor still has a lot of money to spend before he wants to fight me," said Khabib Nurmagomedov, who now has an undefeated record of 25 wins and no losses.

"If UFC gives me one hour rest, I can fight one more time with Conor or Tony. No problem." @TeamKhabib wants to fight for the belt in one hour. WUT. #UFC21931 de diciembre de 2017
