Arda Turan was the main attraction at the Peñas Congress in Barcelona. The Turkey international also appeared alongside Alexis Vidal, Sandro and Muni, the new faces in the Barcelona first team. Arda was the last to speak and started in Catalan with a simple “bon día (good morning)”, finishing with “Visca el Barça (Viva el Barça)”. “I’m definitely really happy because Barça are definitely the best team in the world,” he said, before he jokingly added: “not bad, right?”
The other players also briefly spoke at the event:
Aleix Vidal: “As I said when I was presented, I’m coming home and I hope it will be until the end of my career. It’s a pleasure to be with you all on such an important day. Viva el Barça!”
Sandro: “It’s a pleasure to be with you; we hope to enjoy it with all of you.”
Munir: “Good morning, we hope to win everything. Viva el Barça!”
