Paige's injury interrupts WWE bout in New York

Paige set off all alarms last Wednesday during a house show presented by WWE in New York. The British wrestler was left lying on the canvas and forced to stop the women's match that her team was holding against Sasha Banks, Bayley, and Mickie James.

Although the initial plan was for Absolution, led by Paige, to win, the match was declared inconclusive due to the unexpected injury of the former champion, who received a hard blow from Sasha Banks.

The kick that Paige received may have impacted a network of nerves that connects the cervical vertebrae to the shoulder, causing intense pain. However, Mick Foley assured that hospitalization was not necessary and the blow is improving.

"I'm glad to hear that Paige is feeling much better after the horrible moment she experienced during the show held at Nassau Coliseum," wrote the former Monday Night RAW general manager on his Twitter account.

According to the PWInsider portal, Paige should have no problems returning to action in a couple of weeks. However, doctors prefer to take precautions due to the British wrestler's history of neck injuries.
