Arturo Vidal makes his debut as a starter

The Chilean played until minute 45 in the 3-0 victory against Milan in the opening match of the Audi Cup, and he was satisfied with his performance.

"It's what I did at Juventus and in the national team, I felt good. I'm getting into rhythm, tomorrow (today) we have another match, on Sunday as well, and I'm happy because I'm playing and because I have a great relationship with my teammates. I adapted quickly and I hope to keep improving with each match," he said on Radio ADN.

"I had two chances and couldn't score, this year I will try to score more goals than ever. There are good opportunities and I will take advantage of all the plays that come my way," added the midfielder, who was very involved in the game and hit the crossbar with a header.

"I want to take free kicks and penalties (laughs). I'm happy with the confidence that the coach (Pep Guardiola) is giving me. I want to be a leader, I've always done it wherever I've played. Also, I want to win important things," he said.

Finally, Vidal expressed his satisfaction with the warm welcome he received from the Bayern Munich fans in the home match at the Allianz Arena.

"It's truly an emotion to enter the stadium, especially with the love I feel here. I'm very happy and I will give my all on the field," said the Chilean.
