Market of transfers in Chile: Rodrigo Tello returns after 14 years playing abroad

The returns continue to ignite the transfer market in Chilean football. Now it is Rodrigo Tello who returns to the country after 14 years playing abroad, to sign as a new reinforcement for Audax Italiano.

The player, who was close to returning to Universidad de Chile - his original club - in recent years, will finally join the team from La Florida to continue a career that saw him playing in the second division of Turkey last year.

The 35-year-old full-back emigrated in 2001, after winning the championship with the Blues, to Sporting Lisbon in Portugal for a record amount at the time. After six seasons with the Portuguese team, he went on to play for Besiktas, Eskisehirspor, and Sanliurfaspor.
