WWE: the day fans buried two wrestlers with a rain of chairs [VIDEO]

An extreme match between Terry Funk and Cactus Jack in 1994 would end with WWE fans throwing their metal chairs inside the ring.

Entertainment Wrestling Has Changed

Entertainment wrestling has changed a lot in recent years. In the events of big companies like WWE, scenes of violence, which were a daily bread in the 90's, are increasingly rare.

A clear example of this is the Hardcore Haven event in 1994, organized by ECW (Extreme Championship Wrestling), a now-defunct company specializing in extreme (no-disqualification) matches that was absorbed by WWE in 2006.

In the main event of the event, Mick Foley (under the character of Cactus Jack) faced Terry Funk in a match that ended with an insane rain of metal chairs coming from the stands.

It turns out that the confrontation was interrupted by the duo known as The Public Enemy. And after leaving both of them lying on the canvas, Cactus Jack asked one of the fans to throw him his chair to continue with the punishment.

What the memorable wrestler never expected was that, carried away by the moment of euphoria, all the fans near the ring started throwing their chairs, burying the wrestlers almost completely. What a madness!
