Víctim of cancer, former wrestler Rubén "Pato" Soria dies at the age of 75
The "1000 percent handsome" himself, through social media, informed of his father's death. His father had been in delicate health since last November.
"Pato" Soria was born on February 2, 1942 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, and debuted as a professional wrestler twenty-one years later in his hometown.
Rubén, who was a student of Cuauhtémoc "Diablo" Velazco, wrestled under the names of "El asesino Soria," "Rubén Soria," and "Pato Soria." He retired in 1970 but remained involved in wrestling as the administrator of the Arena Coliseo de Occidente.
In February of last year, "Pato" Soria was honored in Mexico City, where he was accompanied by his son Shocker.
