Paige, who returned to WWE three weeks ago after a year and a half of absence, revealed in Lilian Garcia's podcast several details about the difficult moments she experienced when she was away from the company. Especially due to the consumption of illegal substances that cost her a long suspension.
"I had a very similar life to Britney Spears in 2005. I was very close to shaving my head. All I did was drink, and I needed more and more each time. I was completely immersed in the party world, just trying to be cool with a group of friends who wanted me to spend my money on them," Paige explained.
Regarding her second suspension in WWE, Paige acknowledged that it was due to the consumption of illegal drugs, for which she took full responsibility. And she explained that her doping scandal for taking pills also ended up affecting her romantic relationship with wrestler Alberto del Rio.
"Then I started a relationship with Alberto del Rio and it was like a lost battle once everything came to light on social media. [...] I felt lonely and had a lot of pain in my neck. I thought that taking a pill would make everything okay. I didn't consider myself addicted to them. And I actually wasn't, because I stopped taking them after being humiliated on social media for these actions. I made a stupid mistake, it was very bad. I regret it a lot," Paige added.

However, Paige acknowledged that the leakage of her sex videos would further sink her into depression. "I felt like the world was coming down when a man in a bar asked me if I was the porn girl," added the British wrestler, who at that time was hospitalized for also having anorexia.
Despite the complicated moments she had to go through, Paige acknowledged that the confidence given to her by Triple H and Stephanie McMahon was key to her later return to WWE. "They told me that everything was going to be fine and that I was back home," Paige concluded.
