The Turkish midfielder Arda Turan could not complete the first training session scheduled for today, Friday, after suffering a sprained ankle ligament during the course of the session.
The club reported that the player twisted his joint during practice. His recovery will determine his availability to rejoin training.
Turan, who signed with the blaugrana club this summer, will not be able to debut with Barcelona until next year due to the FIFA sanction imposed on the club for violating Article 9 of the Player Transfer Regulations by incorporating minors under 16 years old.
In training, Luis Enrique was able to count on all the members of his team except for Bravo, who is still on vacation, Douglas, who is injured, and Vermaelen, who is on paternity leave.
