A new team would be after the footsteps of Charles Aranguiz, after British media announced that Leicester City wants to sign the national team player in the short term.
This is specified by Leicester Mercury newspaper, which states that coach Claudio Ranieri specifically requested the national midfielder to replace Argentine Esteban Cambiasso.
In order to do so, the English team would be willing to spend just over US $16 million, a figure that meets the expectations of Internacional de Porto Alegre, the club that owns the Chilean's contract.
But the task is not easy for the English, as Bayer Leverkusen has already publicly announced its interest in signing Aranguiz. They even acknowledged that there is already an agreement between the player and the club.
However, the Brazilian team will be responsible for determining the situation of the Chilean national team player, something that should happen this week.
