UFC Returns to Brazil for the Fourth Time this Year
The official weigh-in for this event took place this morning, while the ceremonial weigh-in will be held in the afternoon.
Lyoto Machida, who is returning after an 18-month suspension, was one of the first to weigh-in and appeared smiling. It will be the first time in over two years that he steps back into the octagon, and he will face Derek Brunson, who also made weight without any issues, thus confirming the main event.
John Lineker, who will face Ecuadorian Marlon Vera, weighed in early and came in at 136 pounds. Lineker has had problems with weight, failing five times in his career within the promotion. Vera weighed in shortly after and weighed 135.
