Deflategate: Will Tom Brady be sanctioned by the NFL?

Following the scandal of deflated balls in the AFC final, and without yet knowing the sanction that the NFL will impose on the QB of the NE Patriots, Tom Brady, the "Deflategate" continues to generate a lot of talk.

Everything surrounding Brady, Roger Goodell, and the "Deflategate" captures the attention of millions of NFL fans, due to its significance in the immediate future of the Patriots, especially regarding the possible punishment for Tom Brady.

In addition to waiting for the final decision on this matter, the football world is turning its attention to the changes that will be made in the ball control regulations from 2015 onwards.

Everything indicates that the ball pressure, which must be between 12.5 and 13.5, will be recorded before the games. Additionally, random checks can be made during halftime and at the end of the games.

The new changes will not affect the weekly preparation that teams do with respect to the balls. In other words, teams will continue to deliver the balls chosen by their QB in the days leading up to the game, with the desired pressure and feel by their quarterback.

Fundamentally, everything remains the same, the only change that can be seen is a greater control by the referees. Two of them will be designated to control the balls of each team before the start of the game.

The balls will be numbered and their preparation, including inflation before the game, will be recorded. From that moment on, the ball coordinator will be in charge of controlling all the balls, as well as being able to check their condition during halftime and at the end of the game, if he decides to do so.

Let's hope that such a controversial situation does not happen again, for the good of this sport; because to make a trivial matter a reason for punishment, as well as to label an elite QB like Brady as a cheater, due to a minimal difference in ball pressure, tarnishes and darkens a wonderful sport in which not everything is as simple as blaming a defeat on the inflation of a "little ball".
