Triple H has sparked controversy during a recent interview in India, where the 14-time WWE world champion discussed the best opponents he has faced and the greatest stars in the history of professional wrestling.
"I think Shawn Michaels is one of the best, but if I had to choose my all-time favorite, I would choose Ric Flair. Nevertheless, everyone who steps into the ring, in my opinion, deserves a lot of respect," Triple H explained.
As for the best opponent he has faced in the ring, Triple H surprised everyone by choosing The Undertaker, leaving out other superstars with whom he has had memorable matches, such as Mick Foley or Shawn Michaels.
"He is simply a legend. Our Hell in a Cell match at WrestleMania 28, with Shawn Michaels as the special referee, is probably one of the most important matches of my career because of everything it meant. There was a moment when the three of us stood together on the main stage after the match that was very significant. I have that photo in my office and I made a plaque with it," 'The Game' concluded.
