The impressive boxing of Floyd Mayweather will reach the big screen thanks to his gloves. Sylvester Stallone, the producer of the Rocky Balboa movies, will use the same gloves as the champion to give credibility to his character.
According to the manager of Grant Worldwide, the company that provides gloves to Floyd Mayweather, Sylvester Stallone personally called him to coordinate the use of the famous gloves of the boxing champion.
The model of Floyd Mayweather's gloves will be used by Rocky Balboa, while the rest of the boxers will wear the same brand but a different style. According to the actor, he wants Rocky's gloves to have the same power as "Money's".
But it won't be cheap. As you may remember, Floyd Mayweather spent more than $2,500 on the gloves he used in the 'Fight of the Century' against Manny Pacquiao. To be like the champion, you have to spend like one.
