Thank you very much. I take it with great enthusiasm and see it as a year of learning, to pay attention to everything the first three captains do, so they can teach me how being a captain works.
At only 22 years old, you are already a captain. Does it scare you?
I am young, I know, but I have a lot of excitement, desire, and I feel very proud to take on this responsibility. I have no fear at all. I am very happy. I knew it could happen if some players left and I was eager for it. It has happened to me and I feel very happy to be a representative of the team.
Only two seasons with a first team number have been enough for you to become a captain...
I don't consider this to be an important fact because with so many years I have been in the club, which are already nine, it counts much more. I know how things work here and I am prepared. I am sure I will contribute my grain of sand.
Do you see it as a reward for the years you have been here?
Maybe yes, for all the years I have been here fighting and being here.
What did your family say when you told them the news?
They were very happy and congratulated me. They have the same excitement as me because not everyone can say they are the captain of such a big team.
What evaluation do you make of the weeks of preseason so far?
For me, it is very good because the team is doing well, trusts its possibilities and the important thing is that it conveys tranquility.
Also, so far they only have victories. Is it important?
The preseason matches are another story, but winning gives you more confidence and it's very good afterwards.
Do they also help to see that, despite the absences, the team continues to respond?
The team will move forward for sure. Important players have left, but we can't always be thinking about that. Now is the time for other players to take on those roles and I'm sure they will because we have people who can show a lot this season.

I hope this year is important for me. I have started it with great enthusiasm and with the captaincy, even more so. I have confidence, they have given it to me and I hope to respond because of it.
What should be the goal for this season?
We need to see how we start the league, how the first games go, which are important, and then internally we will talk about the objectives. But the main thing is not to suffer and make the year beautiful.
