Only one player gathered 8 thousand people at the Elias Figueroa, in one of the biggest presentations of a footballer in Chile. David Pizarro put on the number 7 jersey of Santiago Wanderers and made his debut in society among the caturros fans.
"This is a reward for everything I have done in my career: the 'vagabond' is back", Pizarro shouted from a fence at the Elias Figueroa, while the fans sang to him for his return.
"It was the moment for the Wanderers fans. I had not experienced this before in any other club. Now there are dreams and I know I have a responsibility, that the expectations are very high", said an emotional midfielder.
Pizarro also stated that he signs for one year "but if I'm doing well it could be for more", and that he remains available for the Chilean national team: "If I'm doing well, I will surely continue to be called", he commented.
