The Irishman Conor McGregor, interim featherweight champion of the UFC, is a character who always gives something to talk about. The fighter shared a curious video of his training a few days ago with a view to unifying the featherweight title against champion Jose Aldo Junior, on December 12, and instantly fans took the opportunity to turn it into a Star Wars parody.
In the original video, you can see Conor McGregor dodging a wooden staff, used in martial arts, and some internet users turned the staff into a lightsaber as can be seen in the video posted on YouTube and which has caused a frenzy among MMA (mixed martial arts) fans.
A week ago, Conor McGregor uploaded a video to YouTube, which also went viral, in which he is seen fighting for a few minutes with actor Hafthor Julius Bjornsson, who plays the role of Gregor Clegane 'The Mountain' in the series 'Game of Thrones', and who weighs three times as much as Conor McGregor.
Conor McGregor became the interim featherweight champion of the UFC on July 11 after defeating Chad Mendes, and is preparing to unify the title against Jose Aldo Junior at the UFC 194 event that will take place on December 12 in Las Vegas.
