The Nazi origin of 'The Minions', which has become a viral news on social media, would be a hoax on the internet.

Recently, the supposed Nazi origin of the Minions has been shared on social media, accompanied by a historical photograph. According to the hoax, "minions" was the name given to Jewish children who were used by the Nazis for scientific experiments. This story is false.

According to the theory spread on social media, Adolf Hitler's Nazi Party decided to use these children in experiments during World War II. The theory is supported by a period photograph showing humans in formation with helmets and uniforms similar to those of the popular animated characters.

However, the photograph does not show children but rather men, and it is actually a photograph from the Royal Navy Museum Archive, showing the first divers of the UK Royal Navy submarine, not tortured children during the Nazi regime.
