As shown, coach Carlos Moreno was pleased with the performance of his athlete, Isidora Jiménez, after qualifying for the semifinals of the 100 meters sprint at the Pan American Games in Toronto.
The coach stated that they have already achieved two of their goals, even though their main focus is the 200 meters.
"She accomplished the first goal, which was to improve her time. She also achieved the second goal, which is to qualify for the World Championships. We hope she can make it to the Rio Olympics," he said.
"I believe she will qualify tomorrow. Ideally, it would happen here in Toronto, even though there is still a year to go. But the 200 meters is her favorite event. She will arrive with a lot of confidence and more relaxed," he concluded.
