The Athletic Club has reached an agreement with Real Valladolid for the loan of goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga for the next season.

The Basque goalkeeper, currently the indisputable starter for the Spanish under-21 national team, was trained in the youth academy of Athletic Club and in the last winter transfer window, he signed for Ponferradina to get playing time in the second division. In Ponferrada, he was the undisputed starter, conceding 19 goals in 20 games.

Kepa has played for the U-17, U-19 - with which he became European champion - and U-21 national teams. Thus, Kepa and Mariño will be Real Valladolid's goalkeepers for the next season.
