The first unit of the updated 500C receives the treatment of Stefano Conticelli and will be auctioned at the 'I Defend Gala 2015'.
Is this Fiat 500C ugly or not?
Let's not deceive ourselves, this 500C is really ugly, but if it's for a good cause, does it really matter? We leave it up to you to answer that question, but the fact is that this unit, the first one produced of the updated model, will be auctioned at the 'I Defend Gala 2015', which defends human rights.
A noble cause, that's for sure, but whose fault is it that this city car has such a peculiar look? The responsible one is Stefano Conticelli, a renowned Italian craftsman specialized in working with leather. Hence, it is the main material in this unique unit, although it's not the first time that Conticelli applies his skills to a vehicle; he did a similar job a few years ago on a Vespa.
The 500C has a white body as a base, with the leather adding a touch of color to the front, around the headlights, on the wheel arches, the top of the hood, and the waistline. The main tone is beige, but all the pieces have edges in a greenish blue. The mirrors have received a special treatment; their casings are now made of wood.
And you have to look at the rear to see the last eye-catching detail: a leather picnic basket, which is tied with two straps to the rear hatch.
