America fails to win in the second round of the Ascenso Tournament

The coach Fernando Velasco was insulted by the slightly more than 5,000 fans who were in the stands at the stadium.

The highlight of Velasco's team was the quick reaction shown after falling behind on the scoreboard.

Kevin Londoño opened the scoring after a header assist from his teammate Ibargüen. Until that moment (minute 18), America controlled the game and had generated the best scoring opportunities.

Just four minutes after Fortaleza's goal, the score was equalized. After a corner kick, the Uruguayan debutant Rodrigo Canosa 'flicked' the ball and Ayron del Valle only had to push it in with his stomach.

America, who was booed by their fans, will visit Valledupar next Saturday. Fortaleza reached 27 points.
