Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor
Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor are on everyone's lips after the first press conference they held last Tuesday in Los Angeles, ahead of the millionaire boxing match they will star in on August 26th in Las Vegas.
As expected, the press conference was full of insults and threats from both sides. However, Conor McGregor revealed that during the subsequent face-off, where both had their microphones turned off, Floyd Mayweather would have proposed a second fight, but in the UFC octagon.
"He was trying to say something about the gloves. He was complaining about the gloves, crying about the ounces of the gloves. Then he tried to say something about the UFC being the next step. That MMA will be the next step. I thought, 'you're talking shit, you're not going to do it'," Conor McGregor explained to MMA Fighting.
Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor will face each other again on Wednesday in Toronto, where they will have their second face-off. While on Thursday they will be in New York and on Friday they will finish their mini tour in London.
