Ana María Rendón won her second medal at the Toronto 2015 Pan American Games. Last Friday she won gold in the archery team event, along with Natalia Sánchez and María Sepúlveda.
On this occasion, the gold medal was elusive, but the silver is a recognition of her great work in this edition of the games. Rendón advanced to the final by defeating Mexican Karla Hinojosa in the semifinals with a score of 6-0.
In the final, the Colombian athlete lost 2-6 against Khatuna Lorig, who won 3 out of the 4 sets played. This is the eighth silver medal won by the Colombian delegation in Toronto.
