Imperio Wrestling Presents "La Resistencia"
After leaving a lasting impression in its debut, Imperio Wrestling returned to present its second official event: The Resistance. Led by the brand's commissioner, Manuel Gold, a group of wrestlers from Peru, Chile, and the United States showed that they are up to the expectations demanded by this contact sport. One of the ingredients that gave a special flavor to the wrestling show was the addition of the well-known national commentator Elejalder Godos as the official presenter. The popular 'cuuuaaaarenta minutos' interacted a lot with the attendees and, true to his style, wore a different jacket between fights. Each one more colorful than the other.
The wrestling night started with Roy defeating De La Vega. Then, there was a mixed tag team match, where the duo of Rey Del Aire and Alissa Webb defeated Trash and Alexa. Kassius was overcome by the submissions delivered by Ian Mühlig. And Mansilla, accompanied by scissors dancers in his entrance, knocked out the Chilean Alejandro 'XL' Saez. It was one of the best fights of the night, as both showed a lot of dedication and even took the action into the crowd. For a moment, it was feared that they would end up destroying everything in their path.
Then came the brawl between Chuck Taylor (United States) with Da Vinci versus Rafael de Salamanca with TVK. It became a different confrontation, where the local values brought out all their arsenal, but the difference was made by the American with his personal brand, which has made him well known in independent companies such as Chikara, Dragon Gate USA, TNA, or ROH. The final resolution was a victory for Taylor with Da Vinci, who finally managed to understand each other and combined a similar style to achieve the triumph.
Another interesting fight of the evening was the match between La Nueva Orden Hispana (Al Cold & Axl) vs. the most powerful duo in Peru, Caoz & Kaiser. A powerful, intense, and violent wrestling match was seen. Each team presented a symbiosis that allowed them to read each other, and that was key to strengthening themselves. The end result was a victory for the rudos of La Nueva Orden, who still intend to take over and become the official faces of the company. They are on their way.
The main event was a four corners match for the South American Reptil Championship. It had the American Paul London facing off against the locals Bad Boy Jr. and Apocalipsis. Precisely, the last two mentioned entered the ring without permission to intimidate the paralyzed wrestler, and Commissioner Gold gave them an opportunity to join the action.
It was a close fight, with anger inside and outside the ring. Analyzing the action, Reptil performed good aerial moves, combined with effective kicks, and sealed the victory with a Coup de Grâce. Apocalipsis appealed to his experience and also dared to perform aerial moves. Bad Boy Jr. is on the rise. A separate mention for Paul London, who showed relevance and solidity.
