Atlético Madrid's priority at the moment is the sale of Mario Mandzukic and the Calderón club may have found a willing partner in Juventus. The Serie A club, according to Tuttosport, has been in touch with the Croatian's agent and a verbal agreement has been hammered out that could see the striker wearing black and white next season. It is not yet definitive, largely because Juve are also eyeing up other alternatives to strengthen their front line with Carlos Tévez's departure all but assured: Edinson Cavani is at the top of their wish list but Juve are covering all bases by approaching Mandzukic just in case.
Tuttosport reports that Juve have discussed the terms of the deal with Atlético and the Liga club seem more than willing to talk business. Mandzukic has been offered four million euros a year after tax plus add-ons. Meanwhile, Juve are waiting to see what Tévez decides to do so that they can plan for next season. Everything at the moment points to the Argentina international returning to his boyhood club Boca Juniors.
