Meeting between La Liga and AFE to avoid trial

According to AS, La Liga and the AFE with their presidents in person, Javier Tebas and Luis Rubiales, are meeting this Friday in Madrid to try to reach an agreement that avoids the trial scheduled for Tuesday, July 21 at the Audiencia Nacional due to the indefinite strike called by the players' union on May 8th to start on May 16th (although it did not ultimately take place). The trial was scheduled for June 17th, but the parties postponed it precisely to avoid going back to the court. If there is an agreement in the Tebas-Rubiales meeting, La Liga will withdraw the lawsuit it filed against the AFE for considering the strike "illegal".
