Gonzalo Escalante joins Eibar
The Argentine midfielder Gonzalo Escalante will reinforce Eibar next season 2015/16, as he will play for the Guipuzcoan club on loan from the Italian team Catania.
Arrival and presentation
Escalante, 22 years old, arrived in Eibar on Thursday night, where he signed his contract past midnight. Today, he will be presented at the Ipurua football field, but before that, he will train with the rest of the team in Arrasate.

Career at Boca Juniors
Escalante was trained in the youth categories of Boca Juniors. He made his debut with the first team on April 13, 2013, in the Argentine Primera Division.
After having opportunities to play with Boca Juniors in 2013, he did not have the same luck in 2014. He has played a total of 11 matches for Boca.
Loan to Catania
In the summer of 2014, Boca Juniors loaned Escalante to Catania, a team from the Serie B (Italian Second Division), where he has played 26 matches and scored one goal.
