Former UFC fighter Tim Hague, who currently works in boxing, suffered a brain injury after being knocked out by Adam Brainwood at the Shaw Conference in Canada. The fight video went viral after being uploaded to YouTube.
In the fight, the 35-year-old veteran boxer was not doing well, as he had been knocked down four times in just two rounds. A combination of left and right punches from his opponent was devastating and despite being able to get up on his own at the hospital, his condition worsened.
Hours later, the terrible news was known. "Thank you all for your messages and kind words. Tim remains in critical condition. We are all with him," wrote Jackie Neil, the fighter's sister on her Facebook account. "Tim is currently in a coma. He had to undergo surgery to relieve the pressure on his brain," detailed his former MMA partner Cody Krahn.
It should be noted that during his time in mixed martial arts, the called 'King of The Cage' achieved a record of 21 wins and 12 losses. His last fight in the cage was in July last year, in which he lost to Michael Andryszak.
