The signing of Kiko Casilla by Real Madrid looks close to becoming a reality. In the last few hours Real have upped their offer for the goalkeeper, and they are now closer to what Espanyol president Joan Collet is looking for to give the deal a green light.
As this newspaper announced in today’s edition Madrid felt close to sealing the deal at the six million euros they'd offered. Talks have continued and Madrid have now improved on that offer this afternoon. Espanyol manager Sergio’s statements yesterday certainly did nothing to suggest the deal wouldn’t happen. It’s yet to be seen if winger Marco Asensio could form part of the deal.
