Jorge Sampaoli referred to the match that the Chilean national team had against the Mexicans.

Conforme, despite the 3-3 draw, the coach of La Roja, Jorge Sampaoli, showed satisfaction after the match against Mexico, for the second round of the Copa America.

The Chilean coach valued the performance of his players, referring to the disadvantage they suffered for most of the match, and also praised the performances of Jorge Valdivia and Arturo Vidal. He also criticized the decisions of the linesmen, who -according to him- disallowed two legitimate goals for La Roja.

How do you feel for the next match: It's a very tight Copa. The lesson is that there are unforeseen events that can change everything. Today Chile should have clearly won. Two disallowed goals that were correct seems too much for such an intense match.

Marcelo Diaz: He had a good match. He was substituted because the opponent's tactics changed. I was forced to change the formation. Miiko Albornoz had an acceptable performance.

Arturo Vidal's performance: He is much better than in the World Cup, he is a decisive player for us.

Same level as the World Cup: We need to readjust some things. In the World Cup we had more time. We are adapting to situations that are improving over time. I'm happy with the second half, as we dominated the opponent. There are things to correct. The team is committed.

Did you like your team? I liked today's match more than the one against Ecuador. Chile managed to attack from all sides. The result is too short for Chile, regardless of what Mexico showed.

Jorge Valdivia's option: The combination of Vargas and Alexis was good. Hopefully Eduardo can find his form with the minutes he gets. Valdivia showed he can play the full 90 minutes. He scored a great goal that was unjustly disallowed. He is a valuable player.

Second half substitution: The opponent's 3-4-1-2 system put pressure on us. We lacked a player on the right side. The high pressure in the one-on-one situations made us uncomfortable. In the second half, we changed to a four-man defense to try to create more chances from the wings and that led to Chile's almost complete dominance.

Missed opportunities: They were specific situations that need to be corrected, because the team made a tremendous effort and turned around unfavorable situations. The match would have been closed in the second half if the two legitimate goals had been allowed.

Match analysis: Mexico's system in the first half was challenging to adapt to. The team struggled to break the opponent's pressure, which was our main discomfort. We made adjustments in the second half and generated more goal-scoring opportunities.

Good evening. Soon, the coach of La Roja will discuss the match against Mexico.
